Using chemicals or other hazardous substances at work can put people's health at risk. The Control of Substances hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) require every employerto identify the substances in use at the workplace and to 'assess' whether they present a risk to employed persons. Such assessments must be recorded and any risks prevented or controlled. This course covers the statuary requiments, the process of assessments and the methods and monitoring of control strategies.
