This is a one day course designed for those delegates who have already completed the full Managing Safely for Construction Managers/Managing Safely in Construction Courses. It aims to refresh aspects from the original course and further enhance the delegates' knowledge and skills beyond those covered on the original course.





  • Outline the key elements of Successful Management Systems based on HSG 65
  • Outline the key elements of the Loss Management Model and general Principles of Risk Assessment
  • Advise delegates of the changes in legislation, HSE (NI) Guidance and British/EU standard affecting the construction industry.

Assessment will comprise of a written multiple-choice paper given at the end of the course.
On successful completion of the course delegates will be awarded a Certificate and application may then be made to CEF for renewal of, or upgrade to, the CSR Platinum Manager's card.
